End double-speak

Published on:

Sir — The killing of 132 students in a Peshawar Army school led the Pakistani Prime Minister to take a tough stand against Talibani terror. But the order by a court for the release of the main accused of the 26/11 Mumbai attack, Zaki-ur-Rehman lakhvi, and six others, on bail, comes as a rude shock. This shows the double-speak of Pakistan.

Pakistan is a breeding ground for terrorism. It is exporting and harvesting terror. Its claim of curbing terrorism is hollow since it is still debating between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ terrorism. It is a pity that Pakistan has not learned any lessons. If it really wants to curb terror, it should first dismantle all terror training camps functioning within, including those in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
