emocracy belittled

The only culprit of the non-functioning of Parliament is the Congress led by its president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi. These leaders have been unable to digest the power loss as they feel that ruling the country is their birth-right. They have crossed all limits of decent protest. They are losing even the little respect they had among the public. Surely the next election result will prove that, if the Congress’s first family does not soon realise the folly it has been indulging in.

A strong opposition is a must for the smooth functioning of democracy, and to ensure that the Government’s policies and implementation are in the national interest. But the Congress is not acting in the nation’s interest. In no case, should its leaders disrupt the functioning of Parliament. let’s hope better sense prevails.
