This refers to the article, “Empowering women in the true sense” (March 11) by Kalyani Shankar. In Western countries, women are far more progressing without being political empowered. The main reason for this is education. let us emphasise on this aspect rather than fight for a quota Bill that seeks to reserve 33 per cent of all seats in Parliament and State legislatures for women.
