Sir — The one-rank-one-pension debacle is the result of the Pay Commission’s decadal recommendations, which created anomalies. The Sixth Central Pay Commission recommendations played havoc with the economy. By giving hefty pay rises, it triggered a chain reaction and overburdened the economy. The Pay Commission should be abolished. I support the OROP.
