Sir — This refers to the report by a panel of the National Green Tribunal, losing Rs42.02 crore, and requiring 10 years to recover from the loss caused from the three-day event organised by Art of living of Shri Shri Ravi Shankar, who had the patronage of both the Centre and the Delhi Government. This made Art of living defy the payment of just five crore rupees.
The Union as well as the Delhi Governments should express regret for having backed such an event in open violation of environmental norms. The damage to the Yamuna riverbed has been enormous.
