Sir — This refers to the article, “Best to be spineless in family-owned party” (October 15) by A Surya Prakash. It’s the people of India and the so-called secular media that chooses to brush nationalism under the carpet.
There appears to be a cynical agenda that is out to destroy the nation from within: Make the system so corrupt and weak that nationalism should look like a virus and anything to do with nation-building is to be shunned. The agenda is also to keep the nation on handouts and then showcase a trainload of so-called intellectuals who will attack the nationalists or call them Right-wing and non-secular.
