Sir — Most of us wonder why Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is heavily trolled for gaffes in his speeches. His critics interpret them as lack of information and intelligence even as they are slips of tongue. While inaugurating the Indira canteen in Bengaluru, Gandhi had a tongue-in-cheek moment. He said, “In a matter of a few months, the poor people across most cities in Karnataka will be able to eat in these Amma…er…Indira canteens”. A little before, Gandhi said that the Indira canteens will expanded to every city in Bengaluru. Well, I wonder which are the ‘cities’ in Bengaluru.
