Double standard

Sir — This refers to the report, “BSY makes it official: To return home by mid-Jan” (December 31). One is surprised at the orchestrated protest by Delhi Youth Congress against the BJP for welcoming back Mr BS Yeddyurappa, as this comes amid rumours of tainted RJD chief lalu Yadav aligning with the Congress. 

If the Congress high command does not see any offence to its principles by such alliance, even after a court has convicted the RJD chief, why protest against the BJP’s decision on Mr YeddyurappaIJ What kind of wisdom has dawned on themIJ

If principles were so dear to the Congress,  it ought to have dissociated from the DMK a long back when it came under cloud for the 2G scam. The Congress should clean its own house before preaching about morals to others.
