Don't yiel

Sir — This refers to the article, “We persist with peace, they respond with fire” (October 28) by Balbir Punj. There is no doubt that while New Delhi has done its best to see that both India and Pakistan live in peace and harmony, the response from the other end has been to the contrary.

With the election in Pakistan bringing in Mr Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister, one had hoped that things will change. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. India must not yield to Pakistan’s tricks and antics.
