Do not practise politics at the cost of people's lives

This refers to the editorial, “Not again, please” (October 29).You have rightly said that certain Congress and JD(U) leaders have shown alacrity, as is their wont, in denouncing the RSS and the Sangh Parivar for allegedly being behind the blasts at Mr Narendra Modi's rally in Patna. Instead of exhorting the public to maintain peace and harmony, they have gone to the extent of finding fault with the Sangh Parivar, and that too without any basis. Both these parties, seeing their plummeting political graph, are resorting to low-level politics. But the people are wise to see through their game.

Had there been foolproof arrangements, the Indian Mujahideen terrostists, who are the main brain behind the blasts, would not have succeeded in their nefarious designs. Undoubtedly, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Government showed sluggishness in providing the required security. It cannot shirk its responsibility. Politics should not be practised at the cost of public life.
