Sir — This refers to the editorial, “It’s dangerous politics” (December 6). Will the communal violence Bill protect social stability, peace and relation between communitiesIJ It seems that the Bill is like a virus that promotes hatred among communities.
The Congress is indulging in divide-and-rule politics, social injustices through decades-long reservation system and vote-bank-based politics of appeasing minorities. It is pathetic that politics should dent the soul and united strength of a society. Criminals of any religious group should be punished to the maximum extent. All must be considered equal before the law.
