After the Congress saw the growing support for Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy of YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh, it decided to use the ‘divide and rule’ tactic by announcing the creation of a Telangana State.
Now, all of Andhra Pradesh is paying for the miscalculated decision of the Government. Normal life in the State has taken a beating, with essential services being disrupted off and on. It is about time that the Congress rises above electoral politics.
