Sir — Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative through the Swachch Bharat Abhiyan is praiseworthy. I would like to appeal to the Prime Minister to consider banning roadside butcher stalls. It is obnoxious to see the carcass of butchered animals hanging upside down in the open. Children feel upset. The carcasses also pose a serious environmental hazard.
