It is rightly said that the law and order situation had been better during the regime of Ms Mayawati. It must be remembered that Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had promised to contain goondaism when he took over the reins of the State. He has failed, as things have gone from bad to worse. One waits for the Assembly election in the State so that leaders endorsing goonda-ism are thrown out.
