Sir — This refers to the report, “Wary of credit loss, Cong delaying I-Bill” (August 6). The Congress is faced with a serious crisis of confidence. The humiliating defeat in the lok Sabha, together with the overwhelming presence of the ruling NDA, with BJP swamping the benches, has made the party unreasonable.
Incapable of handling the increasing voices of dissent and growing signs of mutiny against the dynasty itself, it is resorting to stonewalling tactics in the Rajya Sabha — the only slender weapon of resistance left with it.
