Sir — This refers to the article, “PM Modi’s forgotten promises to the military” (August 31) by Ashok K Mehta. The author has rightly exposed the inadequacies in the attitude of the Government towards the Armed Forces. This is not in the interest of the nation. Our Forces have always rose to the occasion. They deserve better treatment.
