This refers to the editorial, “Business of governance” (February 16). A few things stand out from Mr Arvind Kejriwal's second oath-taking in one and half years. The first is his emphasis on taking along everyone, even his rivals, BJP leader Kiran Bedi and Congress leader Ajay Maken, and seek their help.
The second is to live as simple a life as possible and shun the VIP culture, which is so prevalent in the capital. His master-stroke was in not keeping any portfolio with him, so that he can really act like a true watchdog and ensure total governance.
As far as walking the talk is concerned, he has promised the moon to the people, and it will require more than sheer grit and determination to deliver on the sops he has assured. There are constraints. I am sure the Narendra Modi-led Union Government will give its full support to Mr Kejriwal in running the Government.
