Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Irresponsible conduct” (November 25). Ms Mamata Banerjee is the kind of politician who will say anything to take the focus away from her appeasement politics and the scams her leaders are involved in. I hope that for the nation’s sake, the Union Government comes out with solid proof against the acts of omission and commission of her regime and her party’s leaders. The accused should be tried in a fast-track court and the verdict should be delivered at the earliest.
