Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Reality of Ishrat Jahan” (February 12). The crucial issue now, after David Headley’s confirmation that Ishrat Jahan was indeed a lashkar-e-Tayyeba operative, is the manner in which Ishrat Jahan’s terror credentials were covered up or brushed aside with the sole intention of tarnishing the image of the then Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi. It is unfortunate that we are still living with the legacy of the Nehru-Gandhi family which considers every Muslim to be secular and every Hindu communal.
