This refers to the article, “Aamir, you’ve hurt India” (November 25) by Chandan Mitra. It would be silly to vilify actor Aamir Khan for what he has said, but it may be argued that he has left himself vulnerable to criticism. However, what is important is not his observation, but there should be a healthy debate on whether there is an atmosphere of intolerance in the country or not.
