Sir — This refers to the article, “Stature falling like ninepins all around” (April 12) by G Parthasarathy. The UPA has damaged India’s image in every aspect — be it foreign or domestic.
At home, for example, the judiciary is seemingly not allowed to work independently, while political influence matters above all else. As for our foreign policy, the Union Government is least bothered. Consequently, other countries do not care about us anymore. India’s internal stability is also declining. It is easy to blame it all on corruption, but graft exits all over the world.
