Corruption rules

Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Cobweb of corruption” (July 10).  The investigation conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation on the assets of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief lalu Prasad and his family members has revealed that they have acquired over a thousand crore of money by the vile practice of corruption and abuse of power. 

It would be downright impossible to disprove the allegation of corruption levelled against him and his family members. He constantly complains of vendetta politics deliberately set out by the BJP Government to besmirch his reputation. The allegation appears to be ridiculous. The nation is never safe under such corrupt politicians who loot and plunder public properties and amass huge assets, exploiting the nation and its citizens.
