Muslim appeasement has always been an article of faith for the Congress. Bereft of any positive approach to politics, the Congress has for the past 67 years lived on divisive politics, appealing only to religious sentiments of the Muslim community. It has in the process neglected all the vital concerns of the country that include defence requirements, containing inflation and the influx of illegal migrants from Bangladesh.
Have not the policies and programmes of the Congress sustained militancy and all other forms of violence that are detrimental to the cause of national integrityIJ The party-led Government's foreign policy has displayed a sense of utter submission to more aggressive voices. In the past few years, the area where the party has excelled is in the field of scams. The time has now come for us to say goodbye to the irresponsible Congress.
