This refers to the article, “Modi picks up speed, Congress loses steam” (April 28) by Gautam Mukherjee. Ever since Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister, the Congress has not missed any opportunity to point figures at his Government. However, this strategy of the grand old party has now backfired.
The people are not fools. The mess created during the past 60 years of Congress rule cannot be set aside so quickly. One after the other, more skeletons are tumbling out of the Congress cupboard these are not just about corruption scams but include tolerance of anti-national activities. The Congress is in trouble.
