Cheap tactics

Sir — This refers to the article, “Stop being an activist and govern” (January 24) by Kalyani Shankar.

The Aam Aadmi Party’s popularity is now on the wane, after being at a high only some weeks ago. The decline is largely due to the arrogant and utterly irresponsible conduct of the leaders of AAP. Since the AAP regime cannot deliver on its tall promises, it has resorted to populist tricks like staging dharnas and disrupting regular life. It is determined to protect tainted Ministers and loudmouth members. It wants to be overthrown by the Congress’s withdrawal of support so that it can go to town claiming to be a martyr. But the Congress is in no hurry to oblige.
