Sir — This refers to the article, “For them, treason is ‘new Indian order’” (March 7) by Sandhya Jain. After decades of enjoying the image of being ‘intellectuals’ and lapping up huge powers and perks, both from national and international institutions, now the pseudo-secularists find the momentum of true nationalism gathering against them, both at the intellectual and the ground levels. This challenge they find hard to digest.
Since they still occupy influential slots in opinion-making institutions and think-tanks financed by external patrons, particularly in academia, they muster the gullible youth to follow their agenda through foul promises and threats.
Fortunately, a powerful shift is taking place in the perception of the people at large about the real status of these forces of negativity. A strong push in this direction is expected of the nationalistic institutions across India
