Changing dynamics

Sir — This refers to the article,  “Today’s Chanakya and his struggling rivals” (April 5) by Anirban Ganguly. The writer has given a brilliant analysis of the BJP’s astounding victory in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election. It was BJP president Amit Shah’s planning that helped the BJP and its allies win 325 of the 403 seats. 

Shah has created a record of sort to inspire the BJP make significant inroads deep into other States like Kerala and West Bengal. India needs to do away with the dangerous game of appeasement politics based on caste. Ever since in power, the BJP has, in fact, revolutionised the very concept of politics in the country from power to delivery to the needy.
