Sir — This refers to the article, “To Modi, with love. From Indians abroad” (November 21) by Kalyani Shankar. I have disliked the article.
The main reason for the non-resident Indian community’s love for Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not because he speaks about issues of visa and the like. The main reason is that they read everyday about the actions that Mr Modi is taking in India to take the country forward. Mr Modi and his team are working tirelessly since he became the Prime Minister. The hopeless situation created by the Congress has already changed for the better. The writer may not notice the changes, but the common people do.
