This refers to the report, “AAP Govt asks HC to bar lG-pick ACB chief from office” (June 28). The Aam Aadmi Party Government has filed an interim application in the Delhi High Court against the appointment of Joint Commissioner of Police Mukesh Kumar Meena as Anti-Corruption Branch chief by the lt Governor of Delhi. The appointee is allegedly involved in a hawala racket.The Union Government is not allowing Delhi’s elected Government to function smoothly. The Centre should assist the Delhi Government, rather than seek to disrupt it.
