Sir — This refers to reports that the Karnataka Government has decided to reimburse Rs 1.16 crore towards medical bills of actor-turned politician Ambareesh. It is of grave concern that the Karnataka Housing Minister has been given this privilege, since the rules limit reimbursement at seven lakh rupees.
Our Ministers exploit their privileges and go abroad for medical treatment, and leave the public exchequer to foot the expenses. There has to be an end to unreasonable expenditures.
