Calling off the talks with Pakistan under pressure from the Opposition and the terrorists is not the right remedy to resolve the Kashmir crisis. It is true that history has always been on the wrong side of peace, cooperation and fruitful partnership that many, on both sides of the border, have long hoped for.
Yet, it will be prudent for the Modi Government to continue with the dialogue process with Pakistan as far as possible, for an eye-for-an-eye makes the whole world blind. Even as lasting peace may seem utopian at the moment, dialogue is perhaps the best means to build trust. This is exactly where the Prime Minister should focus upon, in the best interests of India and humanity.
