The Maharajganj election result could be a blessing in disguise for an over-confident Janata Dal(U) which in recent times has been trying to flaunt its ‘secular’ credentials and making no bones about its opposition to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. One hopes Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will at least now see the wisdom in not parting ways with the NDA.
