Blatant hypocrisy

Sir — The Opposition has been creating a ruckus in Parliament over the violence in Gaza. It is shameful that the members, especially of the left, are more worried about minority appeasement than national interest. 

On several occasions, Israel has categorically stated that Kashmir is an integral part of India. Has Hamas, or for that matter any other Islamic country, expressed such solidarity with IndiaIJ Do the hearts of Islamic countries bleed for India when our innocent citizens are butchered by terrorists trained across the borderIJ 

A prominent Kashmiri leader declares a bandh in Kashmir to protest the killing of Palestinians by Israel, but never sheds a tear for the four lakh Kashmiri Pandits who were forced out of their homeland 25 years ago.
