This refers to the editorial, “The grand comeback” (November 9). Indeed, it is time for the BJP to introspect. With the BJP losing the Bihar election, celebrations took place everywhere in India.
Perhaps, the BJP ignored certain facts. Right from the day when it assumed power, the media has been needling it. In the Delhi Assembly election, the Congress transferred all its votes to the Aam Aadmi Party. Having lost in Delhi, the BJP leadership still refused to anticipate the vote-transfer, and has now faced another defeat.
In addition, uncalled for and untimely statements from RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat consolidated the votes against the BJP.
