Bhushan's blunder

Sir — This refers to the editorial, “AAP’s larger problem” (January 8). Embracing and exuding the true spirit of patriotism, which most media groups today have sacrificed to grab TRP ratings, the editorial has come directly on Aam Aadmi Party leader Prashant Bhushan.
He has more than once demonstrated his will to hold Kashmir as ransom to nefarious gains by people who play divisive politics. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that he has betrayed the allegiance to national interest in a bid to reserve his place in the  corridors of power, under the aegis of the newly-born AAP.
We hope that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s remark distancing the party from Mr Bhushan’s statement puts an end to the controversy and that the AAP sticks to a pro-India agenda.
A debate on Kashmir should be initiated by the media by inviting the youth of the country and well-informed citizens who have an able and objective understanding of Parliament’s stand on the issue of Kashmir.
