Sir — The dawn of a New Year is a great time to take a fresh look at the world around us. If one remembers the changes that swept through the country in the last 365 days, one would agree that something changed in 2013 — that India finally took that leap of faith.

And the top prize for taking that leap goes to the aam aadmi. As we enter the new year we must learn to do more for each other. We should recognise the goodness in others, introspect and improve what we do not like. May the new year bring in good tidings for all of us.
