This refers to the article, “The Bangladesh factor in India’s security” (September 3) by Hiranmay Karlekar. We must always be on the guard against Bangladesh, no matter who is in power. We must remember that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was a former member of the Muslim league who took part in the week of the long knives to kill Hindus in 1946. We must also remember that he coveted our North-East to settle Bangladeshis. Before and after the formation of Bangladesh, Hindus have and are being hounded out of Bangladesh.
