love tests of the kind that the editorial has mentioned have no bearing on the future of a couple’s relationship. Yes, there are more divorces happening in our country and dissatisfaction is growing rapidly. We must understand that for any relationship to succeed, both partners have to work together and compromise on expectations. In the age of nuclear families where both spouses work, it is critical to have fewer expectations and let relationships flourish.
