Sir — The real issues before the electorate are the rising price of essential commodities and the safety of common citizens.
Add to this the anger of the middle class over the bureaucratic hurdles it faces daily. Neither the alleged ‘snooping’ of the Gujarat Government on a woman nor the foul language used by leaders of political parties, is a relevant issue. Unfortunately, politicians are trying to distract the public by raising the bogey of caste and religious discrimination.
