Sir — It is distressing that Pakistani forces have killed two Indian soldiers and mutilated their bodies along the line of Control. This is an inhuman act. Even when war prisoners are to be treated with dignity, the Pakistani action deserves to be condemned in unequivocal terms.
But this is not the first time that the Pakistan Army has indulged in such barbaric acts. In 2013, lance Naik Hemraj and lance Naik Sudhakar Singh were killed and their bodies were apparently found mutilated. In two other incidents Pakistan acted in the same manner. India must not be mute spectators to such acts. We must take severe action to teach Islamabad a good lesson.
