Sri lanka will turn to other countries for support and we will have to contend with a difficult strategic situation down south. The lTTE and its chief V Prabhakaran killed several innocent Tamils who did not agree with him. Where was DMK chief M Karunanidhi, thenIJ Did he muster enough public opinion against lTTE and support moderate Tamil leadersIJ Meaningful diplomacy, and not strategic posturing by the DMK, can help the Tamil people.
