Sir — This refers to the report, “Doon protesters break police horse’s leg for ‘doing its duty’” (March 15). Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat must take action against the protesters and the MlA concerned. Also, Union Minister for Women and Child Welfare Maneka Gandhi, who is actively engaged in raising a voice against cruelty to animals, should take cognisance of the incident and ensure strict punishment.
