Sir — This refers to the editorial, “PM’s stern warning” (February 18). Mr Narendra Modi’s assurance to the Christian community on religious tolerance, was the need of the hour. There has been a trust deficit between the BJP-led NDA Government and the minority communities. The BJP’s debacle in the Delhi Assembly poll seems to have opened the party’s eyes.
