Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Truth can’t remain hidden” (March 15). The proceedings of the Joint Parliamentary Committee, going by reports, seem to be aimed at shielding Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Union Minister for Finance P Chidambaram, while painting former Union Minister for Telecommunications A Raja as the sole culprit. There were news reports that bureaucrats were ‘tutored’ to avoid any reference to Mr Singh and Mr Chidambaram when they were deposing before the Committee. Mr Raja must be allowed to say his say before the JPC.
