Actions speak louder

Sir — This refers to the editorial, “In words we don’t trust” (April 5). There is something strange about the recent developments within the Congress. Both, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who are otherwise reluctant speakers, spoke at a public forum. But they probably forgot the adage that ‘actions speak louder than words’! 

Economics is supposed to be the forte of our Prime Minister, but still he couldn’t do anything worthy of praise during his nine years in office. And the less said about the Congress prince the better it is, as apart from his celebrated surname he has nothing going for him. 

We have a disastrous economic situation. The days of this regime are numbered and nothing much should be expected from the UPA.
