AAP's drama

Published on:
Sir — Saying that Mr Narendra Modi is an antithesis to the idea of India, Aam Aadmi Party leader Yogendra Yadav added that even with no seat, the AAP will fight Mr Modi “on the street” (whatever that means). Has Mr Yadav just revealed the AAP’s purpose and mindsetIJ Is the party going to oppose a Modi-led Government regardless of the verdict by the people of this countryIJ
AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has said that his party is ready to go to any extent for the sake of ‘honest politics’. There is nothing inherently problematic in this statement, but it will be a tragedy if the U-turn hero embellishes the meaning of ‘honesty’ after the verdict. We should not be surprised if he says that Mr Modi’s development claims (which Mr Kejriwal has described as the biggest conspiratorial lie since independence) represent the height of dishonesty after the poll.
