This refers to the editorial, “Mobocrats of the AAP” (March 7). It is only right to infer from the shameful acts of the members of the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi recently that the party knows only the politics of violence. The AAP is out to seek and seize power by hook or by crook, and it does not hesitate in showing its muscle power.
AAP supporters can indulge in unwanted frenzy to demonstrate their ‘my way or highway' approach and reject any other opinion as bought by vested interests. The AAP leadership should know that by engaging in violence it is destroying the party. The voters are left with no idea of what the AAP stands for except anarchy. The AAP has no business to vitiate the political climate to achieve its petty ends. If the party wants to make a mark on the political scene as a serious player, it must shun violence and street protests.
