It has been seen that Government employees, including police officers, are used as puppets by the ruling political parties and democratically elected leaders. Government employees and security personnel are the regular victim of the dirty political culture. As a result, police often remains a silent spectator. It waits for orders from higher ‘political' bosses. It had been hoped that the Aam Aadmi Party regime would change the situation. But we are disappointed. It too wants to direct the police to do wrongful things.
We had thought that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will operate the democratic system meaningfully. But he has become anarchic, harmful to the people's freedom, unconstitutional and unlawful. He deserves to sit in the Opposition.As one of the guardians of democracy, he has ignored the larger responsibilities of protecting law and order, dignity of the nation, healthy and respectful relations between the State and the Union Government, and the spirit of freedom. He is no different from other ambitious power-hungry political leaders.
