This refers to the article, “When a commoner takes on the prince” (January 15) by Rajesh Singh. The writer is correct in commenting on the feudal mentality of the Congress when it comes to the Nehru-Gandhi family. But he has changed his stance from the earlier one which argued that the Aam Aadmi Party should take the Congress's support to form the Government in Delhi, when Government formation was being discussed.
I agree that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should focus on high-level corruption as well, even as he goes against corruption at lower levels which affects the common man the most. But he has been in power for barely a few weeks. It takes time to gather evidence that has been cleverly hidden by the Congress and bureaucrats who had colluded with the Sheila Dikshit regime. let us give the new Government a chance. Meanwhile, it will do good to the writer's credibility if he does not change his position so dramatically.
