AAP failed the people; Kejriwal halo gone

Published on:

This refers to the editorial, “‘I, me and mine' AAP” (March 30). The way the pro-Kejriwal and the anti Kejriwal groups have washed dirty linen in public and the manner in which Mr Prashant Bhushan and Mr Yogendra Yadav were shown the door, after the efforts the two had put in shaping the party to its present high level, is nothing but unfortunate. And, the kind of language Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal used against Mr Bhushan and Mr Yadav does not befit his stature. Maturity and pragmatism from Mr Kejriwal could have saved this dirty situation. The Aam Aadmi Party, which was launched as a party with a difference, cannot be called so anymore. After a massive win in Delhi, this was the last thing Mr Kejriwal would have wanted. I am sure millions of Delhi’s voters, who backed the AAP, would be feeling restless and sad. Kejriwal and company had promised them the moon, but have delivered disappointment. With the party in disarray, how will it govern DelhiIJ
